Natural England Licensed Deer Management
Red & Roe® undertakes specialist night-time red deer management under a Natural England A16 licence where the relevant licence authority and conditions apply.
When licensed intervention may be appropriate
Night-time intervention may be considered where serious agricultural or property damage meets the necessary licensing criteria. It is not a blanket authority and is not presented as a routine answer to deer activity.
Evidence-led assessment
Thermal observation, trail-camera monitoring, mapping, assessment of deer activity and records of agricultural or property damage can help establish whether specialist management is justified and proportionate.
Strict licence conditions
All licensed activity is undertaken strictly within the conditions of the relevant licence and applicable legislation. Any authority applies only to the circumstances and land covered by that licence.
